Just a quick note to let everyone know that our regular Thursday feature — Baseball and Eggs with Punch N. Judy — will be delayed until ol’ Punch returns from vacation. He may write something up this weekend, he may milk this time-off thang until next week — who knows (The Heckler would bet on the latter, incidentally). But thanks for stopping-by and checking for it. If ya want, drop Punch a note and let him know that a simple note at the bottom of his column the NEXT time he takes time off goes a long way in eliminating the need for his sleepy editor to come home after a Tigers blowout and write a note like this. Rest asssured, his pay will be docked.
